about the great chase Corporate teams of four navigate their way through the community transit system experiencing a day of riding various public transit routes and competing for distance and time. Throughout the day, teams will be challenged to decipher transit route information, select routing, pick the best transfer points, maximize mileage within time constraints and compete against other corporate teams. Teams are scored according to the time it takes them to get through the designated course, the distance traveled, best costumes, most pledges raised and most organized team. Contestants will utilize research, teamwork and communication skills to get through the event in the shortest amount of time. All team members must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Proof of age may be required. Checkpoints are located in safe, well-lit public venues. All checkpoints are staffed throughout the duration of the race. Team members must choose the best way to navigate the transit system on their own with judgment taken in selecting safe and efficient routes. Each team of four is considered registered for the chase only when the team registration form is fully completed, including all registration fees and waivers signed by all team members. Every team may participate in the Chase pledge or fundraising program for the charity of their choice. There will be no refunds issued for registration or fundraising regardless of cause.
