The Rotary Club of Saskatoon FMG's Nutana Saskatoon Dragon Boat Festival will take place on
July 22nd & 23rd, 2011! With more than 45 corporate and community teams anticipated to challenge one another throughout the festival day it is a guaranteed good time!

Dragon Boat racing is now the fastest-growing water sport in the world, with every major city in North America able to boast a Dragon Boat Festival as part of their summer event schedule. 

The Rotary Club of Saskatoon FMG's Nutana Saskatoon Dragon Boat Festival is pleased to announce the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan as the Charity of Choice for the Dragon Boat Pledge program. We have selected this organization because of their strong history and the importance of their mission:

For more than 50 years, Canadians have looked to the Heart and Stroke Foundation to fund vital research that will reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke and improve the quality of their lives. The Foundation has met that challenge. The mortality rate from heart disease and stroke has decreased by 70% since 1952.

But millions of lives are still at risk, and will be, for generations to come. More than 50,000 strokes and 75,000 heart attacks occur every year. Sadly, one in three deaths in Canada is still due to heart disease and stroke. There is still so much more to do.
